CL Yachts' first Sea Activity Vessel (SAV), CLX96, has successfully completed its technical trials. CLX96 SAV's tough demeanor is matched in her muscular appearance.

The yacht's two-level deckhouse with reverse-sheer windshields is the centerpiece of this style. The angle of such windshields serves a multi-functional purpose. First, water washes away easily and quickly from a reverse sheer in rough waves, ensuring clear sight lines when you need them most.

Second, the windshields' angle decreases the greenhouse effect in the interior, keeping passengers cool and comfortable. The windscreen, together with CLX96's instantly identifiable plumb bow, ensures that this yacht is the center of attention in each harbor she visits. Finally, the vertical windows allow for extra internal room, which is one of the reasons why this boat seems so big inside.

The immediately recognizable face was created by Milan-based designer Jozeph Forakis, who gave the designs a fresh spin and a rebel's perspective. "Observations of living behaviors at sea led to a reconsideration of ideas about space, comfort, and conviviality, which resulted in the yacht's unique appearance." Of course, on a luxury yacht, comfort is paramount, but I also want guests to be conscious that they are aboard a'vessel' designed to move them across space and time," explains Jozeph Forakis.

CLX96 has already received a Good Design Award in 2020, a Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, and the renowned International Yacht & Aviation Awards in 2021.

CLX96 has four cabins that can seat eight people. Thanks to her strong and efficient twin Caterpillar C32 engines, CL Yachts expects a cruising speed of 22 knots and a peak speed of 27 knots (at half load).
