The Fold-Out, Walk-Around Beach Club on Sunreef's New 140-Foot Sailing Catamaran
Sunreef's fleet of luxury catamarans has grown in size and sophistication.
The relatively young Polish yard, formed in 2002, has been gradually producing new models to meet the rising demand for high-design multihulls. A new sailing boat called simply as the Sunreef 140 is the most recent addition to the Sunreef family.
The newest addition, as its name indicates, stretches just shy of 140 feet and is described by the yard as a "super catamaran." In other words, it combines the classic cat's sleek shape and clean lines with the luxury and extravagance of a superyacht. It also boasts a unique new aft feature that distinguishes it from its predecessors.
The new Sunreef 140, like the other six models in Sunreef's sailing series, is fitted with a rig that uses the wind to supplement propulsion and enhance efficiency while lowering emissions. She may be equipped with either traditional diesel engines or electric motors, and she is completely customisable. If you choose the latter, you may also install Sunreef's exclusive solar power system, which uses emissions-free energy to power the vessel's amenities.
The aft cockpit, according to the yard, is one of the yacht's most prominent characteristics. It has a handy fold-out platform that connects the two distinct hulls, as well as a salon and eating room for alfresco parties. As a result, a large walkaround beach club with sun loungers, a diving platform, and whatever else the new owner desires is created.
The beach club leads to a gym with ocean views and a storage space for diving equipment and water toys. A spacious garage beneath the aft cockpit has space for two big jet skis, as well as a filling station and launching mechanism. Meanwhile, the flybridge has a bar, dining table, and a spa surrounded by sun loungers.
There is enough room for up to 12 people in the inside. The full-beam owner's suite, with a panoramic view and exclusive access to the spa and lounge on the bow terrace, is a highlight. Super kitty, to be sure.
