In the biggest cove from southern side of island Murter you can find as many as 20 boats on anchor. Some boats sail in for the swim from from not so far away marinas on Murter and Betini while the others stay over the night. It is hard to feel the usual peace of island anchorages unless you came in the beginning of the end of the season.
On the coast we can find a big auto camp full of people that are swimming in the cove.In Kosirina we can anchor in the middle of the cove on depths of 8 to 10 meters or behind the little cove in the south western part on depth of 4 meters. The bottom is sandy covered with sea weed on some parts. The cove is protected from all winds except the south and there is an island in front of it called Tužbina.
Sv. Nikola was a fisherman cove from forever. This specific fisherman atmosphere csn be felt even today, although the fisherman don't tie its boats in the cove on times. Of course it was chosen by fisherman because it is well protected from all winds except on strong southern and south western wind. In this beautiful cove you can anchor on muddy and sandy bottom. From the cove to the city Jezero (which is 2 km away) leads so called bijela cesta.
