The Pershing 72 is available in two or three-cabin configurations. The two-cabin variant, with its private lower saloon or dining area to port, is the one to choose if space is your top priority on a boat. The capacious third cabin on our test boat has a 6'8" headroom, twin berths, an optional fold-down Pullman berth, and semi-ensuite access to the day head. The VIP suite is located up front, with its head on the starboard side (creating a door clash in the forward corridor), a large hanging locker on each side, and a center double berth.

The spacious owner's suite is located three steps aft of the main lobby, with the berth backed against the aft bulkhead. There's a chaise lounge to port and a dressing table to starboard, as well as a large walk-in closet. The head is located aft on the starboard side and is notable for its large tiled shower area.


The master stateroom offers not just solitude and luxury, but also fantastic views out, whether the Pershing 72 is at rest or underway, thanks to those large hull windows. Check out the view during full-lock, high-speed manoeuvres, and watch those windows turn sea-green—literally. During frantic manoeuvres, the Pershing 72 heels so hard that her gunwales are virtually buried. Despite the unusual helm layout, she's a true driver's boat, with plenty of power and responsiveness.
